Just a wee while to go :)
Here are a few pics of me and the tummy - getting quite big!!!
Mummy and Daddy's thoughts:
We are definitely getting down to the wire, time seems to fly by so fast (when you're having fun) and we are nearly at D-Day!
Mum and I, started going through what baby clothes we have, washed them all up ready for when he comes.
Bo, and I are getting ready for the actual labour, making sure that we are on the same page. Organising a birth plan, packing a bag for us to up-and-go.
It all feels a little overwhelming at the moment, as I carry our son - I am more consumed with conserving energy, getting as much rest as possible. Comfortable sleep often eludes me, as he continually grows. I would guess I have put on about 20kgs, so that is putting a fair bit of stress on my lower back, and strangely enough my feet. All my weight, seems to be in my tummy - consisting of the baby and stuff :).
Bo, is amazing... constantly taking care of both of us, making sure we are well rested, awake in time, feed, warm... you name it. I absolutely believe he is going to be the greatest Daddy for Tu. Bo, has mastered wrapping the baby up for sleepy time, and should be just fine when our boy gets here.
We are SOO happy to be having this baby, and are still in shock about the timming of everything. Everything has been full on since we met, inseperable from day 1, engaged a few months later, a house with a mortgage, a new car, and a baby... all in the space of 18 months. It has been the most exciting, stressful, happiest at the same time saddest time of my life - the whole world seems to be spinning :) and we are just along for the ride.
With only a few more weeks to go, we are just amping to get everything in order! I am over-the-moon, that Bo has decided to take a summer holiday, all of December and JANUARY off (what a legend).
It is just perfect to have my mum living with us, she has been so helpful, with going over things that we have learnt at the antenatal classes and to be a sound board of ideas - when we get stuck. It is especially nice, being "daddy's girl" finally getting some attention from my mum
Baby Movements:
EPIC FAIL on comfortable sleep - I am usually awake until 3am... There is not much room left for baby to move around, when he does - I can really feel it :) and LOVES to make his presence well known! Coming to the end of the final trimester, it is really hard to see the finish line - as I am tired of being pregnant now, and just want the little man out! I am increasingly tired and exhausted, and cant wait to sit at home for a couple weeks and put my feet up for a bit. Hopefully boredom doesn't get the best of me.
These have finally wrapped up, hopefully the first of the babies are on their way into the world as we speak. We are having our first after-class catch up on the weekend, which we are both looking forward to.
Midwife Team / Obstetrician Appointments:
We have now been upgraded to weekly appointments - and just to save you endless hours of reading... both baby and I are in completely perfect (as well as can be) health. We had another ultrasound, and baby is weighing in at about 7.5 pounds already. We have been advised, he is not going to be a small baby, but is definitely above the average size for a baby his age.
We have worked out a birth plan with all our specialists, so we look like we are on track.

Baby Equipment:
Bo has hooked up the new baby seat, and it currently resides in the car.
