LONG time no BLOG!!!
We are coming up to week 29 with about 11 more to go til D-Day!!!
What has been going on:
Midwife Team - we have gone on board with a few ladies that rotate at Wellington Womens Clinic at the Wellington Hospital. They are lovely, weighed me in at about 68kgs from 58kgs before I was pregnant. I was quite pleased, Bo came with me this time - and we filled out a mountain full of paper work (again) and the other midwife rolled up my top to reveal my tummy and put some device on so that we could hear the baby's heartbeat. Bo, was quite funny :) he thought that they were doing roadworks or construction going on outside. This amazed, astonishing look came over him - when he realised that sound was in fact his son's heartbeat.
Baby Equipment - we have got a few things, like the baby cot - we put it up straight away - we are completely excited about it! We also have the porta-cot, with a few hitches along the way, mum and I were able to get it up and working.

I have also done a bit of shopping, getting a few clothes and nic-nacs including the baby sling, in which Bo has had a lot of fun figuring out what to do with.
We are also grateful to Kylie, whom sent over some All Blacks stuff - so lovely :)

The baby's room has not quite made as much progress as liked, but we are definitely working on it. Spring is here, and Wellington has pulled out some stunning days - so we have been getting out and about. We have a little bit to work through, but we'll get there :)
Baby Movements - well, I have definitely expanded out in the tummy and there is no second guessing that I am VERY pregnant. I have not started waddling... yet - but am finding it a little more difficult to move around.
We were supposed to have antenatal classes last week, however, our tutor fell sick and had to postpone... in a few more days we will have another crack at it, really looking forward to it - and to meet some other couples in the same boat as us!
Our son, is always the active little fella, all hours of the day and night it often feels. Sometimes, it seems like he lies across my tummy, and then he moves and somersaults and lies parallel. He is getting stronger and healthier everyday - my appetite has picked up but there is not too much room in there :(
Well must be off to bed, appointment on Tuesday with the Midwife Team and the first Antenatal class... then Thursday we have an Anesthetist appointment. Its all pretty much go from here on out.
Hope you enjoy the update and pictures.
